LIONS YEAR 2007-2008

LIONS CLUBS MISSION

To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation.

• The last major event of the 2007-2008 Lions Year is the previously scheduled International Convention held in Bangkok, Thailand, June 23 through the 27th (Details Click Here)

• The first event for Lions in the 2008-2009 Lions Year is the Lions Leadership Forum to be held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada from September 18 through the 20th, 2008: This year Lions Clubs International launches "Online Convention" Go here for all details about this event. • Lions Year 2008-2009 begins and there is news... the new Lions Youth Foundation website is under development. Changes will come over the next month establishing a growing resource for the Multiple District and all Districts and Clubs

What's  New...

Our May 2008 MD 22 Convention "Racing to Change" is now over, much was accomplished as expected ... In the meantime, while we look forward to the MD 22 changes for Lions year 2008-2009 to be reflected in our website lets make sure relevent items are communicated in a timely fashion from the various responsible Lions in the Multiple District!
